Do
high handicaps get enough strokes?
Do low handicaps have a definite advantage in all games?
Do low handicaps ever win overall low net prizes?
Do you want
a low handicap or high handicap on your 4 Man Team?
2 Man Team?
What combinations of golf handicaps yield lower scores?
Do you have
a golf course where the hole difficulty rankings are unfair?
Are you giving your opponents lots of shots right at the beginning
or end of the round?
There has been a lot of
analysis of PGA professional scores but not of amateur scores.
This study will help remedy that deficiency.
I have undergone an empirical
study (analyzing actual scores) to determine some other fair
ways of amateur
golfers competing against one another.
See some of the details of the reports HERE.
Do you think
it's fair that your course is lengthened for tournament play?
Have you
ever wanted to play a "birdie game" with players
whose handicaps are much different than yours? Gross birdies
would benefit
them; net birdies would benefit you?
You can
get all of the answers to the following questions as well as
many more by downloading a copy of a unique, statistical analysis
of golf scores. Master golf tournaments buy selecting the right
team.

You won't find them in any golf magazine or on the golf channel.
This study analyzes over 1600 golf
scores collected during golf tournament play. The scores span
the 2000, 2001 and 2002 golf seasons (May–Sept) for male
golfers, handicaps 0 thru 36. Golf tournament scores were chosen
to ensure a reasonable amount of effort on the part of the
golfer
(competition
to motivate and decrease
likelihood of quitting) and to ensure a minimum amount of “cheating.”
Graphs and charts display the data.
The scores were used to simulate
over 140 000 matches.
A statistical analysis of those matches
ensued.
You can immediately download the
individual reports or the entire report.
They would make a great golf gift for your avid golfer.
